Let It Snow

These are pictures I took after our nice snowstorm this past week. We got a bout 12 inches maybe more here. Took an hour and a half to shovel the driveway and front sidewalk. Thankfully one of Phils friends came down with his snowblower and was able to get my car out so I could make it to work. Got some good pictures of the icicles. The big one is on our neighbors house. And the big drift is at the crappy house on our other side.

messing around with a photo editor

Just starting out

I wish that I had more that I could blog about. I don't really have that interesting of a life. My life pretty much pertains to work and school. Of course spending time with Phil and my family also mean alot to me as well. I absolutely love spending time with my niece, she is such a doll. I have 2 sisters, I don't see them as often as I would like though and sometimes that makes me sad. I wish that I had the motivation my sister Angie has, she really knows how to keep herself busy. She cans food, grows her own garden and sews. I can sew but not as good as she does, I did help her can once and I really enjoyed it. My problem is is that I am so darn picky with what I eat. I did try to plant some seeds last year and it was a total flop, none of them grew :(. This year I'm going to try again but probably will just stick to buying the plants and just transplanting them to the area I want. Phil said that he is going to make a planter for me. Out back along our driveway we have about 4 or 5 Rose of Sharon plants, I'd like to incorporate some Sunflowers back there as well. Phil likes Hostas so we have some of them around the house, now me, I'm more of a flower person so Hostas are kinda dull to me but oh well. I can't wait to see our Daffodils and Lilies come up. I wish I had some Daisies because those are my favorite flowers. Maybe that will be what I start blogging about...My flowers. Not even close to being time to start planting yet, but a great time to get some good ideas.
